In a regular work day at Evans, chances are you’ve had something go wrong with your computer. When that happens, you’ll probably run into Larry Bowman, who helps to solve many of the different IT issues across the company.
Larry’s position includes his work as the IT support and controlling the helpdesk. He helps users with day to day issues, works on infrastructure troubleshooting and maintenance, provides thin client maintenance, and other various tasks, such as setting up printers. Whenever you’re in a bind and can’t figure out what’s wrong with your computer, Larry’s the guy that’ll fix your problem right away.
Larry enjoys the variety that his position offers—the opportunity to work on different issues and puzzles on a daily basis. He also enjoys working for Evans because of the family atmosphere, rather than a “corporate feel.” Because of his position, Larry has the chance to work with nearly everyone in the company regularly, and he enjoys being able to work with a variety of employees across different departments.
He’s also a musician and cross-country mountain biker—Larry plays guitar and bass, and has played in bands for years.
