Rolando “Rollie” Maldonado is a Jack-of-all-trades. He’s worked in Detroit Public Schools for over 16 years, working hand in hand with special needs children. Rollie has also worked here at Evans for over 3 years. He has a son and a daughter, who live with him and his wife.
In his role here at Evans, Rollie pulls orders, checks inventory, and processes material for shipment. He’s also known as the “MTH,” or master treasure hunter—if a piece cannot be located in the warehouse, Rollie will be the one to find it.
What Rollie likes most about working at Evans Distribution? He feels like family within the company, and considers Evans his second home. Rollie appreciates the fact that Evans has given him the flexibility to work his primary job at DPS. He enjoys the day to day changes in his position, and the ability to make a difference in customer satisfaction. Rollie truly enjoys the team he works with every day.
Rich Huziak adds, “Rollie is a valuable asset to the team. He always comes in with a positive attitude, which rubs off on the people surrounding him. He brings light to the darkest of days. He is also the go-to hound dog—he can sniff out the most misplaced parts in the warehouse. I am proud to have him as a member of the team.”
