Tell us a bit about yourself.
My life outside of work revolves around family. I have five children and two grandchildren. My daughter, Alysia Ledesma, who also works at Evans, has a grandchild on the way. We love to shop and enjoy family time at the house.
Describe your job here at Evans Distribution.
I work on the Lip Bar account at Melvindale. We handle the direct-to-consumer orders that come through Lip Bar and Walmart. I handle the organization of the inventory in the warehouse and make sure it’s ready for picking. On a typical day, I pull orders, package the products, attach labels, and scan them to be shipped by FedEx.
What do you like most about your job?
I really love my crew! We have great collaboration and teamwork. Whenever someone is out, everyone steps in to make sure that the orders are processed on time. And we like to have fun too—we are expert multi-taskers!
What do you like most about working for Evans Distribution?
Evans has very nice and sweet people. My supervisors are amazing. If there is ever an issue at home, they are understanding in giving me time away from work. When I first began working at Evans, I thought it was going to be temporary, but that was six years ago! And now it’s like a second home to me.
