Tell us a bit about yourself.
When I’m not at work I love to cook, paint and travel. One of my favorite destinations is Tennessee—both the Smoky Mountains and Nashville. I
enjoy the music and the fun personalities in Nashville. Also, I’ve been married for 40 years and I have a 7-year-old mini Schnauzer named Cruella Deville. (Pictured below.) I love her and as you can see she is full of attitude!
Describe your job here at Evans Distribution
I am a customer service representative in the value-added department in Melvindale. I work on the Bottle Crew, Quicken Loan, Girl Scouts and Diageo accounts. I schedule appointments for inbound and outbound truckloads and in general, I ensure that the customer needs and wants are met.
What do you like most about your job?
I like that you never know what tomorrow will bring. I enjoy developing solutions to address customer challenges. No challenge is the ever the same.
What do you like most about working for Evans Distribution?
I love that it’s a family-owned business; it’s not corporate America. I never feel like a number at work. Everyone knows each other and it feels like a family.
