Tell us a bit about yourself
I have driven for Alden for 16 years and I’ve been driving trucks for 40 years. When I’m not working, I enjoy traveling and spending time with friends and family. I’m a big football fan and I hope the Lions make it to the Super Bowl—I’ll be waiting/watching for the day!
Describe your job here at Evans Distribution
As an Alden driver, I transport automotive supplies for SPD. Years ago, I used to drive over-the-road to Chicago and other places. But these days I love to stay local. I enjoy being home every day. I like the consistency of knowing what I’m doing every day and where I’m going.
What do you like most about your job?
Overall, it’s nice place to work. I’ve gotten to know some of the drivers over the years. And when automotive is up, everything runs smoothy for me.
