Tell us about your role at Evans.
I handle the billing for Alden Logistics and the owner-operator payroll. It’s very important that we bill and pay correctly, especially when you’re responsible for processing nearly 1,000 invoices per week!
What has been your favorite account, project, or highlight from your time at Evans?
What I like best about working at Evans is being a liaison between Alden and Accounting. I’m able to stay well connected to people in both departments. Also, I used to work in a dispatch role for a previous employer, so I understand challenges from both sides.
What is your team/co-workers at Evans like?
I love my team! Everyone is super nice and we support each other when in need.
Where is a likely place to find you when you’re not at work?
On my couch with my dog Blue. She’s an 8-year-old Staffordshire Terrier. Her personality is just like mine! She’s my big potato—we have her on a special diet now. I also enjoy volunteering at the animal shelter and spending time with my two children, 18 and 20 years-old.
What’s the number one thing on your bucket list?
I would love to travel to Ireland. I recently found out that I am 50% Irish, and I never knew that! I’ve always thought was a beautiful place to visit.
