Wendell Daniels has been driving for Alden for nearly two years. He typically transports electric batteries for Jeep from Canton to Toldeo, three times a day.
Wendell most enjoys being out on the road and seeing the same people every day. “I don’t like to be confined in a building,” he says. Over the years, he has built great relationships with the people on his route. It’s important for him to represent Evans as professionally as he can.
Wendell takes safety seriously. He conducts pre-trip inspection at 5 a.m. every morning. He checks tires, oil, air leaks, breaks, and lights. Truck maintenance is a top priority to keep him safe on the road. “Don’t be in a hurry,” he says.
In his off time, Wendell drag races his Suzuki bike in the National Hot Rod Association. He and his brother compete in the pro-stop motorcycle races. “My dream is to have Evans Distribution Systems on the side of my bike at U.S. Nationals,” Wendell says.
Words from Wendell’s Manager:
“Wendell’s positive attitude and enthusiasm for life and his job are infectious throughout the office. He is always willing to help out, and he is dedicated to doing his job fast and efficiently.”
