Detroit Zoo Walk to Cure Lupus
My beautiful, sweet, precious daughter was diagnosed with lupus 3 years ago. Because of the illness, she endured allot of pain and faced many battles coping and living with the disease. Currently, the only treatment is to treat the symptoms as they develop which requires doctors of many specialties and enormous medical bills. Steph was a strong, beautiful, passionate person is missed daily. She worked as a social worker and loved helping the children and keeping them safe. She loved giving to the children and making the office holiday parties special for them. In honor other kindness, generosity, and watching the years of pain and suffering, it is our goal to help raise money to increase the awareness of lupus, a possible cure, and to help families financially that struggle with day-to-day task.
